Essence of Summer, August, 2008

 

• April-June 2008: Spring projects are popping up all over the place!
• July-September 2007: Summer harvest.
• June 2007: A gardening we grow!
• May 2007: Expanding the garden.
• July 2006: How the garden grows!
• June 2006: A look inside the garden.
• May 2006: Spring at last! Time to get outside again and start gardening!
  • First up: a shade garden.
  • Next, clean up the west side of the yard and the treeline in back.
  • Raised beds built and fence installed.

• October 2005: Our first perennial bed.
• September 2005: Since the weather was still nice, we decided to work outside.  The first task was tidying up the front and back.
• September 2005: Sick, old trees had to be taken down.  We'll plant new trees, though!  And, we had all the trees processed into mulch for the garden. Reduce, reuse, recycle!  Photos of the tree removal project!
